Dear Green Wave Family,

I love athletics and what sports teach us about life.  My own children participate in sports here at West Point High School.  I love that our children learn hard work, perseverance, team work, and so many life skills through sports.  Our society went from athletics teaching us about life, to being all about winning and losing, and now to being all about my child being the star.  I believe we, West Point, are still grounded.  We love to win, and we do it often.  But, we understand the big picture.  That’s why West Point produces so many quality people.  I love to see former players and students with their kids or in their jobs.   Our doctors, mayor, our high school principal, our superintendent, police officers, coaches, truck drivers, pastors, and the great people at Peco, Yokohama, and other plants are all proud West Point Alumni.  They are also great parents and people.

One of the things I want to make sure we do is keep our alumni involved and informed.  We offer 18 sports here at West Point and are always looking to add more.  We want every student to have a place to fit in and shine.  Many alumni don’t know that we offer swim, golf, esports, and more.  We want to make sure our former athletes and band members know how we are doing.  With that being said, we want to offer a West Point Athletic app, an all in one spot for everything athletics.

We need your support to continue to offer quality athletic programs to keep our students involved in extracurricular activities.  This app is a way to keep our parents and alumni informed and involved.  Thank you for downloading it and please share it.
